Well! We have made it through our first month of the new school, the new house, and all the new schedules to coordinate. We are all still alive! What an accomplishment, at least in my eyes. I am enjoying school, though I am nervous about tests, especially my Math test.
The kids changed from Mapleton Elementary and are now attending Spanish Oaks here in Spanish Fork. They were sad initially to be leaving one school and going to another. Mariah was especially upset that she was going to have a "Boy Teacher". But now she loves her teacher and all the kids have adjusted really well. They love the neighborhood and we have moved into a really great ward as well so that's been fun too!
Matt ended up changing his online Health class to a face to face one, because online is WAY to easy to put off til it's too late. He's doing pretty well otherwise. He is actually gone right now on his ROTC "Tip of the Spear" 16 Mile Ruck March...or something like that. He'll be back tomorrow night, undoubtedly sore, and tired, and all pumped up from whatever they accomplished while out there. Wish me luck on dealing with all that tomorrow! The kids initially though he was going to war and got really upset. They were crying and didn't want him to go until I told them he was going on a training thing. Mariah told me, "That's good, cause I wouldn't let him go to war." I can't imagine what it'll be like when he's actually in the Army and actually being deployed...Isn't that going to be a special time!?!
So, ya. What am I still doing up on a Friday night with not too much homework to work on and children all asleep?.. Well, I guess that says it. I'm goin' to bed. See y'all later!
