Christmas Eve 2009

This year, we did a big dinner for Christmas Eve with our "little" family and my Mom and Dad. We had a turkey and most of the fixin'. It was yummy and the lot of us scarfed it down like we usually do!
Following the filling of our tummies, it was time for the kids to open one of their presents. This is an annual tradition, and one that I intend to keep living on forever. Just because it's fun. The kids always hope they get to pick out which present they get to open, but, hmmmmm, not so much. Mom or Dad, or even one of the Grandparents gives them out. The older kiddoes are starting to figure out that it's ALWAYS new PJ's. Even though we've got pictures of the whole night, we'll skip each one of them unwrapping and go straight to the "after" photos! ...And here they are! The Tilton Children adorned in their Holiday Evening Attire...

Now, off to bed they go! Awaiting Santa Claus's visit to our humble household. One by one they drift off and undoubtedly dream of the wonderful things they hope to get upon awakening tomorrow. Gavin took the longest to get to bed...as usual, but we finally made it. Now, here's our blessed little tree on Christmas Eve night, before we all "settled our brains for a long winter's nap!"

Merry Christmas Eve Everyone!
